Preventative Care

Adult and child cleanings, fluoride tx, sealants protect the chewing surfaces of teeth for adults as well as children. They are clear or shaded materials that are applied to decay-proned surfaces to reduce the risk of cavities.

Bitesplint: Over 90% of Americans grind or clench their teeth on a regular basis. This condition, known as bruxism, can cause serious jaw and muscle pain, headaches, and excessive tooth wear. It most often occurs during sleep, so the majority of people have no idea they are doing it.

Fillings: A dental restoration ,a filling, is a treatment to restore the integrity and function of a tooth that’s been damaged due to decay or trauma. Fillings are made from a variety of materials including composites and porcelain. Porcelain inlays and tooth colored restorations create fillings that are both aesthetically pleasing and incredibly strong thanks to the newest technologies available. You can also have your silver/mercury fillings replaced with tooth colored fillings which will make your teeth much stronger and more appealing visually. In addition, since the resin used in tooth colored restorations contains fluoride, this can help prevent additional tooth decay.

Root Canal Therapy

Your teeth contain several layers: the outer protective enamel, a secondary layer of sensitive dentin, and an inner pulp that contains components commonly referred to as the “nerve” of the tooth. Each pulp chamber branches off, forming canals that lead toward the tooth root tip.

Severe tooth decay, a deep cavity, traumatic injury, or tooth fracture can make the canal susceptible to bacterial infection, which can kill the pulp, and create infection pressure within and below the tooth. This can cause severe pain and may initiate bone degeneration, tooth loss, and even more acute pain if an abscess forms in the jaw, underneath the tooth. If you visit a dentist in the early stages of this condition, the tooth may be saved with a root canal. Otherwise, it should be extracted and replaced with a bridge or an implant.

Root canal therapy allows the dentist to remove the pulp, clean the canal and seal the tooth, effectively protecting and saving the tooth. The dentist will place a temporary filling and later replace it with a permanent filling and/or crown depending on the position of the tooth in your mouth.

Orthodontics

Early Interceptive Treatment: The American Association fo Orthodontics recommends that children have their first orthodontic evaluation by age seven. Often major orthodontic work can be minimized by treating at an early age before the jaw fully develops. When interceptive treatment is needed, phase one would direct jaw growth to make room for the permanent teeth and phase two would move teeth into their exact positions with braces.

Traditional braces, Clear Braces, and Invisalign Certified:
We offer Invisalign, clear aligners that are the latest way to straighten your teeth without braces. These custom-designed clear, removable aligners gently move your teeth into position. The aligners are simply switched every two weeks until the smile is just perfect. that perfect smile can improve your dental health and your self-confidence.

Implants

Whether you are missing one tooth or several, dental implants are generally the best treatment option for tooth replacement. Dental implants are placed in your jaw as an alternative to the root portion of your missing teeth to stabilize new teeth or to stabilize a denture. Dental implants look, feel and function like natural teeth, so that you can always smile, and enjoy your food with confidence.
